Since May 1, 1968, the official date of creation of Hauts-de-Seine, the economic growth of our department has never wavered. Even before their counterparts in the inner suburbs only look at the issue, the elected majority of county council, through the voice of their successive presidents, have sought to find ways to compensate for the gradual and inevitable loss of jobs industry. They seized all the means at their disposal to promote the attractiveness of our territory in the direction of the major companies in the economy market and the services sector. Our department, better than the others, has managed to maintain a higher employment rate than all other departments in the suburbs. Forty years of proactive policy led to the Hauts-de-Seine, a leading economic power.
Yet parallel to this dynamic has developed "low noise" a complimentary service that is coming, step by step, complete the departmental pool of jobs. This provides a result of implementation in our country's business sector of the economy and social solidarity.

For nearly a year, a working group meets regularly to the General Council. His mission: to explore all the initiatives to help strengthen the growth of this sector and thus encourage a policy of employment promotion office.

Because we go far into the action: in a globalized economy, the territory becomes paradoxically the main theater of social initiatives and solidarity. We must create conditions that will provide to any holder of the project means to realize his ideas.
The strength of our department requires new drivers to enroll in a sustainable social economy in the landscape viola-Sequani. I wish that we be given the opportunity to encourage the installation on strategic sites in the department, incubators and business incubators together.
